About the Role
This is a hands-on, field-based role where no two days are the same. As part of our Support Team, you’ll play a vital role in keeping retail and hospitality IT systems running smoothly. You’ll provide hands-on troubleshooting and break-fix support across a range of technologies, including EPoS equipment, chip and pin devices, kitchen management systems, routers, WiFi and digital menu boards.
It’s an ideal role for someone who enjoys problem-solving, takes ownership of issues and thrives in a fast-moving, service-driven environment.
What You’ll Do
- Break Fix: Respond to client calls to maintain, refurbish, and install various IT equipment, including EPoS, digital menu boards and chip and pin devices
- Manage incidents end-to-end, ensuring fast resolution and minimal disruption
- Client Communication: You’ll communicate effectively with our clients, managing expectations, offering solutions and providing updates on work
- Team Support: You will support your colleagues both in the field and at head office on work completed, delays and any other updates
- Support installations, maintenance and hardware replacements
What You’ll Bring
It’s essential you have proven experience troubleshooting and fixing a range of retail and hospitality IT equipment in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. You’ll be confident diagnosing issues, resolving faults efficiently and maintaining system uptime in buy operational environments. You’ll have experience working with SLAs and delivering high-quality service.

The role includes regular travel, occasional overnight stays, and a 5-day schedule across 7 days, including alternate weekends. Shifts typically run between 08:30–17:30 but may vary from 06:00–21:00 depending on the client. You’ll need to hold a full, clean UK driving licence. Ideally, you’ll be located on the Edinburgh/Glasgow corridor.
