1. How would you describe the responsibilities of this position?

Maintain and protect health and safety standards within the organisation and with private and public organisations. Promote a positive health and safety culture in the workplace. Ensure that all employees and workers comply with safety legislation. Finally, that all safety policies and practices are adopted and adhered to.

2. What is the best part about working in Celestra?

Celestra is one big happy Family and I include all our field colleagues in this. I really enjoy supporting all areas of the business with regards to H&S and really enjoy visiting our field colleagues at our client’s sites. I’m gain so much information from site audits and project meetings. I always enjoy helping teams with any H&S queries and safe systems of work.

3. How does your job role help Celestra function day-to-day?

Health and Safety is at the heart of what we do and how we work. Not only do we have a legal obligation to look after our teams, field colleagues and clients we have a legal duty to uphold H&S legislation. We have a duty of care to ourselves and our field colleagues to ensure we look after where we/they work and how we/they work. We also have a duty to our clients so they know we work to the highest health and safety standards possible and  therefore will always look at ways to improve and ensure the safety of all involved in our works.
